School Profile

Monroe Elementary School is home to 330 students in grades K-5.  This is the first year that Monroe has been used as an elementary school and our younger students are loving the extra room that is offered in this wonderful building.  Our mission statement; Inspire Learning for All, highlights what our school is all about.  Students are able to engage in the core subjects of language arts, math, science, and social studies.  In addition we offer classes in art, music, p.e. and stem.  Our teachers go above and beyond to help students be successful here at school both academically, and socially.  Your child's success is our success.
We have a very active PTO who work tirelessly to support our teachers and our students. They spend a great deal of time volunteering in the classrooms.  In addition, they plan many family events and an amazing fundraising event.  They are always looking for new members to help them and I would encourage you to join in the fun.
In closing, I would encourage  you to visit our school and experience the great things that are taking place.  Please remember to stop by the office and let them know you are visiting before entering our classroom areas.
Feel free to make an appointment to talk with any of our staff members if you have further questions.
