Student council is excited to kick off our school-wide food drive to support the Sweetwater County Food Bank, specifically our Green River families! The drive will run from November 4 to November 24, and we’re asking each class to help collect non-perishable food items for families in need this season.
How it works:
Students can bring in items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter, and other non-perishables.
Please have students place donations in the designated collection box in/outside your classroom. Student council will provide you a box before the drive starts. If you need me to provide a bigger box, additional boxes, etc., please let us know.
At the end of the drive, student council will weigh the totals and deliver the donations. The classroom with the most weight in donations will receive a reward from the Bowling Alley!!
